By signing up now to Become a Vendor, your products will remain available on the Nation Marketplace for 365 days just by completing your registration. We also offer our Silver or Gold subscription for additional features and benefits.
Q: WHO CAN REGISTER TO BECOME A VENDOR?
A: We invite vendors from all nations to showcase their products on the Nation Marketplace. Whether your a small vendor in a rural community or large manufacturer seeking new markets, we invite everyone to become a part of our online community.
Q: ARE THERE ANY QUILFICATIONS TO BECOME A VENDOR?
A; Yes, in order to protect the Nation Marketplace reputation as a trusted business trading platform, you must complete all questions on the vendor registration form. Once we receive your registration for the FREE subscription, our vendor approval team will check your information on various search engines or databases to confirm the validity of the business. We highly recommend that you use your business email address (having the same URL as your business website). Gmail, yahoo and other personal email accounts may decline approval. Purchasers of our Silver and Gold subscriptions will find automatic approval once payment is received.
Q: HOW MANY PROCUCTS CAN I UPLOAD FOR FREE?
A: We will allocate every vendor up to 32 product pages for FREE. If you need more than 32 product pages, please subscribe to our Silver and Gold plans.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE COMPLETE REGISTRATION?
A: Our website administrator will create a user profile for your business and email you the login credentials to access your store. Once logged in, you will notice a sample product page. We suggest that you duplicate this product by replacing all of the content and images with your own product information. The sample product page will contain an embedded “Contact Seller” button which is already tied to the contact information listed in your registration. Once all of your products are uploaded, we will help each company to create new category listings from the homepage and syncing all categories to mobile devices. All product images should be pre-sized to 600 x 600 pixel in .jpg format. We ask that all pricing be in US Dollars ($USD or Euros) to maintain a continuity. We will be glad to help each company throughout the entire store building process by emailing your challenges to email@example.com.
Q: CAN WE BULK UPLOAD PRODUCTS ONTO THE WEBSITE?
A: Yes, when logging into the supplier portal, vendors will notice our “Bulk Upload” feature. Simply download our CSV template to your desktop. Fill in the required data including images (as a URL link) and upload the CSV to create your entire store. We understand that these tasks can be a little intimidating. But don’t worry, the Nation Marketplace also has third party contractors available for hire who are willing to upload your CSV file and proof your product pages for $125.00 per CSV upload.
Q: DO WE NEED TO SHOW PRODUCT PRICING?
A: The answer is no. However, based on customer feedback pricing does generate increase buyer interest. We have some supplier’s posting commercial net pricing based on minimum purchase requirements. We have other supplier’s presenting the recommended retail price (RRP) while others show no pricing because all leads are forwarded to local distributors who will handle the customer’s inquiry directly. When trying to determine the best pricing strategy for your business, it’s important to simply view the Nation Marketplace as a global resource to promote your band for lead generation and to increase your sales.
Q; WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A BUYER CLICKS, CONTACT SELLER?
A: Once a buyer clicks “Contact Seller” they are required to complete a series of questions. The Nation Marketplace then reviews the inquiry to confirm it is a genuine buyer request. This requires validating the buyer’s website along with some basic research. If the lead appears to be genuine, we then forward the lead to the vendor’s contact representative. If the lead is determined to be spam or phishing, the inquiry is simply deleted and you will never know about it. When a vendor does receive a lead, we ask that the vendor contact the buyer within 24 to 48 hours. If the vendor fails to contact the buyer within that period, the lead maybe distributed to another marketplace vendor.
Q: IS THE NATION MARKETPLACE AN ECOMMERCE PLATFORM?
A: We view the Nation Marketplace as a sales promotional tool for lead generation and product sales. Currently we do not provide a shopping cart feature for buyers to complete a sale on our site. As a commercial B2B platform, visiting buyers are exploring cost options, product availability, delivery lead times, freight cost. We find buyers often looking to fulfill material gaps in their supply chain. The Nation Marketplace does not stock products or directly fulfill orders. The Nation Marketplace as a marketing tool for growing your business and reaching new potential customers.
Q: WHAT IF I AM PROVIDING A SERVICE OR OPERATE A HOTEL?
A: At this time, we are only showcasing “products” available for sale.
Q: HOW ARE BUYERS FINDING THE NATION MARKETPLACE?
A: We are investing into Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to increase buyer traffic. We have contracted with SEO experts who work daily to improve our exposure with Google and Bing.

A: See Internet Marketing Agreement. We tried to keep it simple and we did. All suppliers acknowledge and accept the agreement during registration.
